Seodapop uses artificial intelligence to help you discover, generate, and publish content. This page explains exactly how — in plain language.

What AI does on Seodapop

• Discovery sessions — an AI assistant (powered by Anthropic Claude) asks you questions about your business, goals, and audience to understand your content needs.
• Content generation — based on your discovery session, AI drafts website copy, SEO metadata, and structured content for your review.
• SEO suggestions — AI analyses keywords and search intent to suggest optimised titles, descriptions, and headings.

Which AI provider we use

We use Anthropic Claude (via the Anthropic API) for all conversational AI and content generation. Anthropic is a safety-focused AI company. Their data handling policy is available at anthropic.com/privacy.

What data is shared with Anthropic

When you run a discovery session or generate content, your messages and responses are sent to the Anthropic API to produce AI outputs. We do not share your name, email, or account details with Anthropic. Messages contain only the text you type and any context needed to produce relevant results (e.g. your business name and niche if you have provided it).

Anthropic's API usage policy states that data submitted via the API is not used to train their models. See Anthropic's Acceptable Use Policy for details.

Data retention

• Discovery session transcripts are stored in your account for the duration of your subscription.
• If you delete your account, all transcripts and generated content are permanently deleted within 30 days.
• For regulatory compliance, anonymised transcripts may be retained for up to 2 years in write-once archival storage.

AI-generated content disclosures

All pages published via Seodapop carry a <meta name="ai-generated" content="true"> tag and an IPTC DigitalSourceType=trainedAlgorithmicMedia marker on AI-generated images, in compliance with the EU AI Act (Article 50) and emerging best practices.

Free-tier sites display a visible “Built with AI on Seodapop” badge. Paid-tier users may hide the badge after completing an attestation confirming they take editorial responsibility for the content.

EU AI Act compliance (Article 50)

Seodapop complies with EU AI Act Article 50 transparency requirements. Users accessing Seodapop from EU member states see an additional disclosure before interacting with AI-powered features. AI outputs are clearly labelled. You are always in control — you can edit, reject, or regenerate any AI output before publishing.

Your rights

• Access — you can download all your discovery transcripts and generated content from your account dashboard.
• Correction — you can edit any AI-generated content before or after publishing.
• Deletion — you can delete your account at any time, which will remove all your data.
• Objection — you can choose not to use AI features. Manual content entry is always available.
